Real-Time Dashboards & Alerts

Smartphones | Tablets | Web Browsers | PC & Mac | More

Visual KPI reads multiple data sources in real-time (big data, historians, databases, manual data, web services and more) and adds context with KPIs, groups/hierarchy, alerts, and geolocation. It gets your critical data in the hands of more users without extensive training and it can be deployed in days, not months. Want to see how we do it?

Who uses it?

Decision makers. Operations. Remote workers. Data Junkies. Anyone who values knowing what's happening right now, regardless of their device.

Mobility is no longer optional. Visual KPI presents problems and opportunities before it's too late. Oh, and there's no six-month project that "might" pay off.

Support FAQ > Installation & Deployment > How is Visual KPI affected by upgrades to our Domain Services platform?

Search the FAQ for entries containing:

Short answer:  not at all. :)

Longer answer:

Visual KPI is an in-memory application that runs inside of Internet Information Server (IIS).  Since we delegate all AD-related service calls to IIS, the web server acts as a proxy for our code, insulating us from changes in the underlying operating system.

Certain things are important:

1) Visual KPI does not support down-level AD migration.  e.g. moving from Windows AD Native mode 2012 R2 to 2008 is not supported.

2) Visual KPI will be affected by the transition in the same way as all websites in your company intranet. Ensure that your IT governance policies for accessing Intranet web sites is extended to include the Visual KPI webserver as well.

3) If your upgrade plans include the operating system of the Visual KPI webserver, ensure that you are not migrating the webserver at the same time as your AD upgrade.  It is essential to allow AD sufficient time (a few days) to fully propagate after an AD upgrade.
