4. Advanced Alerting
Alerts aren't new to monitoring applications but Visual KPI takes them further. Alerts are role-based and put the information in context, regardless of where the user is or what device they are using.
Alerts with Context
Visual KPI alerts go way beyond just telling you "something" went wrong. They include all of the contextual data you need to see what has happened and most importantly each one contains a link to the real-time trend showing you where the alert took place and letting you immediately know if the problem was temporary or getting worse.
Made for Mobile
They are pre-formatted for mobile email clients (desktop ones too!) to limit scrolling so you get the right information in the right order to make decisions quickly. And right at the top is the link to the detailed situation. Quick, simple and useful.
Targeted
Visual KPI Alerts are configured in the Designer and go beyond just specifying someone's email address. They take advantage of your existing directory structure (like Active Directory) so you can alert users, groups, departments or even whoever is in charge at the moment (including equations and references from additional data sources).
Always up to Date
What if you don't see the alert right away? Most applications will only show you what happened at that time, but Visual KPI shows you when the alert happened and exactly what has happened since. Did it get worse? Was it temporary? You'll always know with Visual KPI.
