05-05: Working with Alert Configurations
The Alert Configuration worksheet is used to define the types of alerts to be sent out, the type of information to be included in the alert e-mail, and the alert intervals. The following Alert configuration settings can be made in the Alert Configuration worksheet:
- Alert Reminder Interval
The time interval (in minutes) to wait between reminders for an active alert. A setting of 0 turns off alert reminders. - Time in Status
The minimum time (in minutes) that a KPI must maintain an alertable status for an alert to be sent. A setting of 0 will alert as soon as a KPI status is detected as alertable. - Alert When High High
Controls whether or not High High is an alertable status. - Alert When High
Controls whether or not High is an alertable status. - Alert When Good
Controls whether or not Good is an alertable status. - Alert When Low
Controls whether or not Low is an alertable status. - Alert When Low Low
Controls whether or not Low Low is an alertable status. - Alert When Unknown
Controls whether or not Unknown is an alertable status. - Alert When Not In Service
Controls whether or not Not In Service is an alertable status. - Include KPI Limits in Alert Notification
Controls whether or not KPI Limits are included in the alert notification text. - Include KPI Custom Attributes in Alert Notification
Controls whether or not KPI custom attributes are included in the alert notification text. - Include KPI Membership in Alert Notification
Controls whether or not the KPI's associated groups are included in the alert notification text.
Changing Alert Configuration Settings

From the Config menu, click Alerts to open the Alert Configuration worksheet with the current settings.

Make any required changes to the Alert Configuration settings.

Click the Save Alert Configuration button to save your changes.
