01-06: Using the Group By Page
Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 7:20AMIn the Group By page, you can change the way your data is grouped by overriding the Default Attribute Grouping setting. You can choose to group by a standard attribute or by a custom attribute. The Group By option only affects the Bar Charts, Values, Trends and Links pages; changing the setting on one of these pages affects the other two pages.

Click the Group by icon,
. The Attribute Grouping page displays. -
Select either a standard attribute (options include Default, None, Status, or Group) or custom attribute (options include any custom attributes defined within the Visual KPI system). Selecting a standard attribute causes any selection made in the Custom Attribute Grouping section to be removed. Alternatively, selecting a custom attribute causes any selection made in the Standard Attribute Grouping section to be removed.

Click the Apply button. You are returned to the previous page. The Values, Trends and Links pages are grouped according to the selection you made.
