02-00: Using the Groups Page

The Groups page displays information regarding the contents of the selected group and the groups’ KPIs. The Home group is the highest level group in Visual KPI and is the web site's Home page. The Home page presents a list of top-level Groups with a KPI Rollup of the KPIs belonging to each Group. Below the list of groups is the Status Legend, which displays all of the statuses that are configured to display.

The KPI Rollup provides a quick view of the statuses of the KPIs included in the View. If supported by your device, you can mouse over a KPI Rollup to see an overview of the number of KPIs and their statuses included in the KPI Rollup. If you do not see the KPI Rollup column, check with your Visual KPI Administrator to determine if the feature has been disabled in the Web Site Configuration.

On the Groups page, you can choose to only see the Groups that are children of the current group (this is the default), or you can choose to see all descendant groups of the current group. Groups that have their Show attribute set to False as of the timestamp shown are NOT included in any Group view.

• Click any of the KPI Rollups to move to the KPIs page for the active group. The view will be the same as the view used in the Groups page (List, Group Map, or KPI Map).

• For any of the displayed groups, click the group details icon, , in the column to the right of the True Roll Ups, to view the Group Details page.

• Click any of the Group names to move to a sub-group Group page. If the selected Group doesn’t have sub-groups, the KPIs page for the selected group is displayed. If the Group has a Default Tab assigned to it, then the group’s defined Default Tab will be displayed.

• Click the Status Filters icon, , to move to the Status Filter page, where you can specify the statuses you want to include in the Visual KPI pages.

• Click the View as Group Map icon, , to display a Group map for each of the groups on the current page. The KPIs in the active group that have Group Map value of 1 to 5 are displayed in the Group map.

• Click the View as KPI Map icon, , to display the KPI Map page. The KPIs in the active group that have Group Map value of 1 to 5 are displayed in the KPI Map.

• Click the Ad Hoc Value icon, , to move to the Ad Hoc Value page.

• Click the Ad Hoc trend icon, , to move to the Ad Hoc Trend page.

• Click the Search icon, , to move to the Search page.

• Click the Share icon, , to prepare to send an e-mail to Transpara, or others, that includes a link to the current page.

• Click the Info icon, , to move to the System Configuration Details.
